Pyramid Valley – A Tranquility retreat

Pyramid Valley, a spiritual retreat and peaceful haven near Bangalore, is a perfect cognitive retreat.

About Pyramid Valley

Pyramid Valley International is the world’s largest Buddha Pyramid, founded by Brahmarshi Patriji solely for meditation purposes. Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement is in charge of it. It is 30 km from Bangalore. It will be open from 10 am to 6 pm and there will be no entry fee.

The main appeal for visitors is the statue of a meditating Buddha at the pyramid’s entrance. A paved path leads to the Maitreya Buddha Pyramid, which is designed for yoga and meditation. The pyramid has a base area of 160ft by 160ft and a height of 102ft. The pyramid structure was inspired by Giza’s Great Pyramid and is oriented north-south, with the inner chamber reaching one-third of its height. It’s been scientifically designed to collect and radiate cosmic energy and can accommodate up to 5,000 visitors at once. During Buddha Purnima, Pyramid Valley becomes extremely crowded.

The training rooms host meditation workshops, seminars, training, and annual conferences. In one of the training rooms, a staff member explained the importance of meditation and its benefits to us. He briefed us on the meditation pose and guided us towards the meditation within 10 minutes. We then proceeded to the meditation hall via the staircase. The meditation hall is enormous, and depending on personal preference, both seating and chair facilities are available for meditation. As soon as we walk into the hall, we are completely engulfed in calmness. We can forget our worries while meditating in peace and without time constraints. Also, visitors can stay for a few days if they wish and choose from a variety of lodging options.

While climbing down from the hall, we noticed a library and shop at the building’s outer structure. The library primarily contains spiritual books on meditation and Buddha. The shop also sells books, paintings and idols, acupuncture tools, snacks, and other items.

Vicinity Area of Pyramid Valley

We took a walk through the nearby rock gardens and came across a cafeteria. We then went to the cafeteria for some cookies and tea. Following that, we went to a garden and sat by a tree to relax and take in the surrounding hills, fountains, and lush valleys. There is also a small river within the garden. We can take a stroll through the rock gardens. Certain areas are inaccessible and closed to visitors. The grounds are well-kept despite their size, and there are numerous medicinal trees and plants.

Dining Hall

Pyramid Valley’s management provides all visitors with free lunch and dinner at noon and evening. We ate in the dining hall at 1 pm, following the queue system. We can eat inside the hall, where chairs and tables are available. Following that, we should wash the plates because the same ones will be served again. As the place was a little crowded at the time, we ate quickly and then went to the green gardens to relax in the serene atmosphere. It is merely too delightful to spend time inside the pyramid or in the lush greenery. Overall, it’s an excellent family day trip destination for relaxing and rejuvenating your mind and body from the stresses of daily life.
